Introduction to Natural Dyeing

The aim of this course is to introduce dyers to the wonderful world of plant dyes. I have now published it on YouTube.

All my courses take you step by step through each stage of the dyeing process to give you a basic understanding of the principles of using plant dyes on wool. I hope to give you the confidence to develop your own skills and to start to experiment.

I also want to you to be safe, so basic health and safety is covered. Then there is consideration of the environment. I aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible, so there is a unit covering those aspects too. I am sure I have missed something out, but we cannot all be perfect!
