I supply two types of double knitting yarn.  One is the beautifully soft Blue Faced Leicester yarn.  It is beautifully soft, luxurious and gentle on the skin. It is great for baby clothes and scarves etc.
The second is Romney was from Kent originally.  The yarn is still soft, but not as soft.  It is great for jumpers or hats and gloves as it is harder wearing.
Please do NOT mix these yarns up unless for a specific project because whilst similar, they are not identical.

Remember these yarns can be washed in a washing machine on a wool wash with wool wash detergent.  Add a bit of hair conditioner to the final rinse to increase the softness.
